Four injured in a Kacanic traffic accident

Kosovo police report that a serious accident took place today in the afternoon, around 17:05, on the road linking Ferizaj and Shtrpce, on the territory of Baynica village of the Kacanik municipality.

Kosovo Police spokesman for the Ferizaj region, Wessel Kanun, has declared the accident has been caused by the crash of two vehicles travelling on this road.

We're announcing that today at around 5:05 on Ferizaj Street Shtrpce, on the ft. Baynica, the Kachanic municipality has had a traffic accident, including two cars. In addition to the physical damage, 4 person” has suffered.

The Regional Traffic Police specialised units were quick to arrive at the scene, where they took the first actions to secure the area, facilitate traffic flows burdened by the accident, and start initial investigations into its causes.

Along with them, emergency medical teams have made the first intervention by offering medical assistance to the injured and that the same have been sent to Ferizaj Hospital.

Investigations into the event continue, where the factors that led to this confrontation and relevant responsibilities will be determined.

Authorities have called for caution in traffic and respect to road safety regulations to prevent such events in the future.
