Even this year, HIB Petrol is confirmed as one of the most important companies in the Kosovo economy, with about 70m euros in taxes paid for 2023.
As evidence of commitment to economic growth and the fulfillment of fiscal responsibilities to the state, HIB Petrol has been rewarded with the second prize from the Kosovo Economic Oda as the second largest taxpayers in the country for 2023. This year, the amount HIB Petrol has paid to the state totals about 70m euros.
At the ceremony, attended by the most important taxpayers in Kosovo's economy, HIB's extraordinary contribution to the country's economy was stressed.
The award from the Economic Oda, in the annual event where greater economic achievements are celebrated, comes in recognition of the extraordinary role as taxpayer and shows the importance of the company's developing and growth.
The HIB currently has over 1,000 employees in all its business units. While this award should serve as motivation for all businesses to take financial priority and contribute to the good in the country. So HIB provides an example of taxes as well as the contribution to the large number of business employees.
The discipline and financial sustainability of the HIB Petrol has an important role in supporting the local economy, providing funds for public services, infrastructure, projects and other public initiatives that directly benefit Kosovo citizens.
HIB Petrol has long been the head of innovation in the derivative sector, with a focus on sustainability, sector development and environmental care. Recently, the HIB Petrol has added Sieemens' rapid fillers to electric vehicles, causing a charge of up to 80% of the car to take place in about 15 minutes.
