Haxhiu: Crime on Lyridonna is an alert to rest until there is justice

Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu at a “united against violence enough!” spoke of the murder of 30-year-old Liridona Ademiaj, who was killed days ago, until she said that “was another case involving childicide”.

Haxhiu stressed that after an intensive work between the Kosovo Police and the Prosecutor's Office the acts of killing 30 years were arrested, as he added that the highest sentences for the crime are expected.

Haxhiu said in front of those at the conference that as a society we should be calm until a society where the dignity of girls and women is respected, and that crime on Liridona is an alarm that we should stop until we have a society that has justice and equality.

This important event comes days after the murder of Liridona Ademiaj, another murder of a woman ordered by her husband, another evil that results in the death of a woman, another case involving childicide. Unfortunately after an intensive job, the acters of the Liridona assassination have been arrested and all expect the highest sentences for committing this worst crime”.

We said goodbye to Liridona, but we as a society will be calm until we create a society where the dignity of girls and women and their lives is respected. Crime over Liridona is an alert to rest until we defend a society of justice and equality. We seek justice for Liridona and all the other women who were killed by their husbands. The issue of violence belongs to all of us, and we all have the responsibility to fight”.
