Gervailla: Representatives of various countries are wondering how acceptable we are in the North

Foreign Minister Donika Gervalla says representatives of various states that have visited Kosovo in recent months are surprised how acceptable we are in the north.

“The extent of sovereignty on the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo is, of course, linked to strengthening the legal state.

I want to share with you an impression that many representatives of various states have visited Kosovo and the north in recent months have shown me, who have expressed some wonder how present and acceptable our security institutions are in the north.

Their expectations when they come to Kosovo are that there is a total rejection in the north, that Serbian citizens of the Republic of Kosovo see the presence of our security and justice institutions as undesirable, while the experiences these people have when they go north are the very opposite of that”, Said Gervala.
