The French Parliament has adopted a legislation that stiffens France's policy of immigration after months of blockade.
The amended bill has been supported by French President Emmanuel Macron's centrist party, and Marine Le Penny's right-wing party, National March.
The left hand accused Macron of making concessions with the extreme right.
However, the majority have been so large in parliament's lower house that the ruling party has not needed Le Penny's support.
Macron told his party, prior to the vote in Parliament, that he does not want the National March to have the final word on this victory.
He has said he sends the document earlier for a new reading rather than to be approved on the basis of Le Penny's party's support, the AFP news agency has said.
With new measures, migrants find it difficult to obtain family members in France, and extended periods of access to state benefits are extended.
A preliminary draft of this document has failed to be adopted due to opposition from the opposition.
Groups for human rights have condemned the decision made, calling this law migration as the most violent law in decades.
MPs from the far right and conservatives have backed the decision, while the left have expressed disappointment.
The Macroni Party has lost the majority in parliament in the July 2022 elections.
Since then, his government has had difficulties several times to advance the bills in parliament.
