EU spokesman Peter Stano said the draft association of Serb majority municipalities that has been presented to the ongoing dialogue parties in Brussels (Kosovo and Serbia) is balanced and European.
Could we just remember that a new balanced European proposal for establishing the Communist Association was presented to the respective partners from the EUSR for Belgrade's dialogue in Pristina during his visit to the region at the end. Stano has made it known why the EU is not publicizing the contents of the Association draft.
“The EU's proposal has not been made public, as diplomatic efforts are under way. We never disclose official documents publicly, nor do we participate in public exchanges while they are discussed. We expect the same from the partners, since it is a normal practice in international mediation for the process to develop in privacy”, Stano said further.
But, it has not given a clear stance on whether the EU has an assessment of which party in the process of dialogue is not implementing the Brussels and Ohrid Agreement.
“In your last question, implementation is the responsibility of the Pauls and so far they have not been able to move forward and meet their dues” said EU spokesman Peter Stano, for RTV21.
