At noon Tuesday, dozens of girls and women in Shkodra gathered to be sensitive to the great pain that followed the murder of Liridona Ademij in Kosovo.

Euronews Albania reported that they had chosen silence as a form of march, while lighting candles in memory of 30-year-olds.

We have gathered for Liridona, we have gathered for women, for the family, we have gathered for the girls, to raise our voices, to solidify with the great pain not only the family of Liridona, but all Albanian society is almost involved. Very serious, unprecedented events. Killing the mother of two children, I don't know. Today I would have waited for the wives of all Albania, not just the wives of all Shkodra. The government, the state, the law is what change”, a citizen said.

We are gathered for the right to life, right to be forgiven by God, and only He has the right to take it. We are gathered to make women feel vulnerable to their rights.
