Four Charged for Terrorism

The announcement was made Monday, by the head of the court, Judge Valbona Musliu-Selimaj, reports “Justice Trust”.
The same said the court found Djurdaj, Syla and Bela guilty of criminal activity “preparing terrorist acts or criminal acts against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo”.
Also, accused Syla and Djurovic found guilty that in co-ordination they committed criminal work “retaining ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”.
On the other hand, the accused Skyer found him guilty of the criminal act “Fugitive and Financing in carrying out terrorism”.
Meanwhile, accused Bellaqa found her guilty of criminal work “retaining ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”.
The accused Djurdaj, because it has not been proven that he committed the same criminal act “not announcing the preparation of criminal acts”, has cleared him of this charge.
Also, the accused Skypier was acquitted of criminal activity “preparing terrorist acts or criminal acts against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo”, which according to Judge Musliu-Selimaj the court considers his actions have been fulfilled in criminal work “Regulatory and financing in carrying out terrorism”.
After the same were convicted, the court indicated that a separate session, which will be held on January 25, 2024, has been scheduled for the sentencing.
“Where initially from the parties requires that in that session all extenuating or sequenced circumstances which will affect individualisation of the sentences, as well as request a report from the trying service, a pre-punishment report, and after analyzing all the courts will decide on the appointment of the” sentence, Judge Musliu-Selimaj said.

Otherwise, Shkodran Krasniqi was charged in this case, but the same after the plea was sentenced to 1 year and 3 months in prison and a thousand euros in fines for criminal work “Import, export, supply, transport, production, exchange, mediation or unauthorised sale of weapons or explosives”.
