That's what Clan spokeswoman for the American Embassy in Pristina, Catherine Juddd has said about the process involving the four mayors of the northern municipalities.
“Citizens have the right to apply for the withdrawal of elected officials under this administrative instruction. We respect the rule of law in Kosovo, including exercising this particular right, given a democratic and legal process”, it says in response.
“We continue to encourage the Government of Kosovo to ensure that citizens effectively exercise their rights according to administrative direction”.
