Besnik Boletini announces recent election of two-year term at the helm of the RTK Board

Kosovo Radio Television Board Chairman (RTK), Besnik Boletini, has announced that last night he has held the closing meeting of a two-year term at the helm of the RTK Board

Boletin has announced today that he held his last meeting as chairman of the RTK Board on Tuesday.

Last night was the last meeting at the helm of the RTK Board. A special two-year-old, extraordinary”, Boletini said on a Facebook note.

Boletin cited some good works which he said were performed during his two years at the helm of the Public Broadcasting Board.

We found the public broadcaster in poor condition, but it has already stood up, it is cheaper, more professional, and it is strengthening. Much remains to be done”, he said.

He said that “for these years, corruption at RTK has been zero”.

In September of this year, the RTK Independent Trade Union had demanded Boletin's resignation after his statement that he receives information that on the public media “workers come with pajamas and miniqa”.

RTK's Independent Union had considered such a Boletin statement an insult.
