Arifi: Kurt split us up, Valley Albanians boycotted elections for this reason

Presevo Mayor Shqirim Arifi has accused Prime Minister Albin Kurti of dividing Albanians of the Presevo Valley, and as a result, according to him, they have also boycotted the election appearance.

Arifi in T7 has recalled the 2020 agreement, which had unified Albanian political parties in the Valley, but says that in Sunday's elections Kurti has attributed itself to Camberi and is sponsoring partition.

The “in this Sunday election is behind a rift that has been sponsored by Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his flagrantly biased interventions in the direction of Camber. On the basis of this intervention, Albanians from the Presevo Valley have boycotted these elections. Out of 80 thousand voters, only 15 thousand have appeared at the polls. This has almost sufficed to provide the mandate of Kurti's”, the head of the Presevo municipality.
