AP burns the pump for opening “to a new office” This is about the Vatican.

Kosovo will soon open an office in the Vatican, about fifteen years after declaring independence. Albanian Post sources within the MPJD disclose that the head of the liaison office is expected to be appointed former adviser to the Kosovo Presidency, Vehbi Miftari, who currently serves as a representative for contexts under the Kosovo Embassy in Italy.
The Vatican has not yet recognised Kosovo's independence, although the Kosovo state has its own representative, and the demand for recognition exists long ago there. However, there have been no missing at the Holy See the occasional meetings of Pope Francis or Secretary of State with senior Kosovo officials, including Kosovo's prime minister and president.
Opening the office at the Holy See would be one of Kosovo's greatest achievements in the international arena in recent years and, of course, one of the most valuable works of the chief of Kosovo diplomacy. If the promise of Kosovo's top diplomat is fulfilled, then the move would simultaneously constitute the sole contribution of Minister Gervalla's three-year rule.
News of opening the liaison office at the Vatican comes at a time when Kosovo is facing extraordinary difficulties in terms of strengthening international subjectivity. Five states within the European Union (BE) ) Spain, Greece, Romania, Slovakia and Cyprus reject Kosovo's independence, despite recognition by over 115 world states./AP
