The leader of the Wagner group, Prygozy, lost his life a few months ago, after the crash of the plane he was on board with nine other people,
Now, the American newspaper reports that the chairman of this operation was Ptrusev, a close friend of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Western intelligence officials and a former Russian intelligence officer told The Journal that Pgozhin's death in August had been prompted and approved by 72-year-olds.
Numerous charges have been brought against Russian President Putin, who was held responsible and responsible for the death of Wagner Group chief.
This was because Prygozy had rebelled against the Russian military leadership before the plane's incident took place and left with his army to Moscow, abandoning positions in Ukraine.
Before he arrived in Moscow, however, agreement was reached to disrupt the uprising. Prygozy had complained the day before that the Russian regular army had bombed the group's camps and repeatedly complained about lack of ammunition.
Former Russian intelligence officer Patoshev ordered his deputy in August to draft an operation that would kill Pgozhin.
A small bomb was placed under the wing of the plane during a delay when security inspectors were controlling the plane, Western intelligence officials told The Journal.
Dmitry Peskov, a Kremlin spokesman, told Reuters he would not comment on the issue. /Telegraphy/
