As it becomes known in the media report, the American Oda has stressed the urgent need to remove the import ban on final products from Serbia, saying it is negatively affecting American and other international states operating in Kosovo.
“During the meeting, representatives of the American Ode expressed their concerns about their commitment to the public sector in the area of economic policies and investment withdrawal prospects. Particularly, they reiterated the urgency of removing the import ban on final products from Serbia, citing the negative impact on American and other international states operating in Kosovo”, the report said.
The American Oda also in the news say they have expressed concerns about the negative impact that relations between Kosovo and Serbia have on their business operations.
The U.S. Economic Ode communiqué reportedly understood their position by stressing the negative effects of the import ban on both citizens and businesses.
The Hyland directorate understood Ode's position, highlighting the harmful effects of import ban on both citizens and businesses. Regarding the issue of investment withdrawal prospects, it recommended that Kosovo take pro-active measures to improve its domesticity internationally. Director Colleen Hyland stressed the important role of normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, stressing that this would significantly contribute to creating a favourable environment for economic growth”, the communiqué points out.
Hyland has encouraged Kosovo to give priority to initiatives that promote co-operation and strengthen its international position.
