The trial against the three indictees was announced Thursday by the head of the court, Violet Naman, reports “Justice Vowift“.
Judge Naman said the three indictees Lum Dravishi, Kenan Hasani and Okan Hasani are sentenced to two years in prison (each alone) because they are guilty that, in co-ordination, they have committed criminal work “light bodily access”.
The same ones, in prison sentences, will be charged with the time spent under house detention and house arrest from April 14th to December 7th 2023.
The accused were denied house arrest. While, the damaged party's property-juridical demand is rejected, as the court estimates that from the data collected in the criminal procedure, there is not sufficient evidence for the realisation of that right.
The indictment was pronounced in the absence of indictees, as they had stated at the previous session that they did not want to participate in declaring the verdict.
The incident against the River Dravishi, Kenan and Okan Hasani was founded on August 4th 2023 by the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK), with the reasoning that on April 11, 2023, about 11:00, influenced by the radical radical ideology of Islam, had easily injured journalist Valon Syla, since he had written in his account in “Facebook” for prophet Muhammad and prophet Isa.
Hence, with these actions, Kenan and Okan Hasani were charged with criminal action “Equipment”, the work punishable by six months to three years in prison under the judicial condition of the indictment.
