The Ministry of Education has reacted after reporting on the expenses that Minister Arberie Nagavci is expected to have for plane tickets, writes Periscopi.
As explained by the ministry of the signed contract budget last week has not yet begun to be spent.
The”contrata was signed last week and enabled the realisation of the needs for official travel of all MASTI workers, universities, institutes and MASTI subordinate agencies for the next two years. The contract budget has not yet begun to be spent, as there has been no demand for ticket purchase of”, said in the August response.

Reaction for barring “Gazeta 10” with “Air” Nagavci spends 117 thousand euros on plane tickets
The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation ( MASTI) responds to a text published by 05.12.23 on the “Gazeta 10” titled “Air” Nagavci spends 117 thousand euros on plane tickets.
This writing has been incorrect and untrue from the biased title, where it claims that Minister Nagavci has spent 117 thousand euros on plane tickets.
The scripture refers to the open tender from MASTI “Air transport service for MASTI” contract which has not yet started to be implemented.
The contract was signed last week and enabled the implementation of the needs for official travel of all employees of MASTI, universities, institutes and MASTI subordinate agencies for the next two years. The contract budget has not yet begun to be spent, as there has been no demand for ticket purchase.
So the trend of the portal in question is to disinform the public as the minister has spent 117 thousand euros on plane tickets is unacceptable. In this regard, MASTTI will also address the Independent Media Commission.
Despite numerous requests for access to public documents and the difficulties it causes to staff in the daily work implementation of requests, MASTTI has always been open to respond to media and citizens, including the expenses of Minister Nagavci.
MASTTI assures citizens that every cent spent on Kosovo's budget is used and used as planned and public opinion will always be announced.
