Volin's resignation, Biserko: Evidence of increased pressure on Serbia after Banjska

Aleksandar Vulin, director of the US-sponsored Security Information Agency of Serbia, has resigned from this position. In a statement to the media, Volin has said the US and the EU “are demanding his head as a precondition not to impose sanctions on Serbia”, writes AntenaM. In this regard, the head of the committee [...]
In this regard, Helsinki Committee head Sonja Biserko says that Western activity has intensified and pressure on Serbia, because the event in Banjska is a warning about what could have happened.
“Presion increased and the last time Ursula Von der Leen was there, she clearly said Serbia is expected to recognise Kosovo, which means that Kosovo should be allowed to be part of international organisations and that it should be allowed to do many other things and how much we can see that part for the Volin has been fulfilled. Vuciq was eventually forced to replace the vulin,” declared Biserko for Antena M
Biserko feels that Vuciq did not give up his beliefs but was forced to replace the Seal.
“Of course Western pressure on actors in the Balkans has increased, and I think that first of all belongs eventually to leaving Serbia's domestication and humiliation policy, in the hope that they will turn it towards the West, which did not happen. We will see how things will develop further, see who will replace the seal, perhaps someone from its narrow circle. We know Voulin was a Russian agent, he worked for Russia. He filmed the Russian opposition, who has had meetings in Serbia and has taken him directly to Peskov. He has done a number of things about his connection to the Russian service”, Biserko said, broadcast Express.
Biserko concludes that Volin will replace one from his environment, which, as she adds, will be blindly more moderate in what she says considering the circumstances in which Serbia is currently in place.
