The president of the Liberal Democratic Party in Serbia, Cedomir Jovanovic, has announced that he will enter new elections in Serbia under the “slogan Should otherwise” and with a campaign in which he intends to tell Serbian citizens the truth about independent Kosovo.
Jovanovic has announced that he has decided to enter the election due to the events of September 24th in Banjsk and Serbia's silence towards them, as well as that he does not want to live in a state where citizens choose between the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuciq and Dragan Dillasi, writes “Danas”.
I will not lie to the people for Kosovo, to offer you any easier way, because at the end of that road we will disappear”, Jovanovic said.
He has announced that he will also participate in Belgrade's local elections, adding that he wants a chairman who is <x0).
Jovanovic has said he opposes the Franco-German plan because, according to him, it is not meant for Serbia. As he has said, he wants, <x0) that the future power in Serbia should invite Pristina representatives to Belgrade or go to Pristina, talk and that Kosovo be the land of the Serbian people and the Albanian people, those who want to be Albanian land, let them go to Albania, and those who want to be Serb land in Serbia<1>.
Jovanovic has said that during the campaign for the 17 December elections, he will also go to Kosovo to visit families of Serbs killed and the police family killed by the terrorist attack on Banjska.
He added that he does not respect the Serbian Orthodox Church.
Jovanovic has been known as among the rare Serbian politicians who recognise Kosovo's independence for years.
