In response, the Social Democrat Party protest (PSD) reportedly was fair and not violent.
When PSD activists threw smokeers, Kosovo police intervened by arresting at least five PSD activists, against whom a disproportionate force was used, which for KMDLNJ is completely unnecessary”, says KMDLNJ.
KMDLNj calls for the Kosovo Police Inspectorate to investigate whether the police have overstepped the responsibilities with which the protest management case is equipped.
The protest, at the same time, is human right in any democratic country. At the time Kosovo citizens held hostage at The Hague's Special Racist Court Prison are being denied basic human rights, the visit of the head of this court in Pristina cannot be considered any other than provocation and action contrary to minimum professional and moral standards. KMDLNj has been strongly opposed to this visit, the response concludes.
