Kosovo Police Inspectors of the Department of Investigations have arrested today a police official in Gjakova on suspicion that the same has committed the criminal work of “ganim” and “Dunim”.
The IPK reports he received information two days earlier by Kosovo Police and the complainer, who has denounced the case in which this police official allegedly committed illegal acts.
“Based on initial investigative actions allegedly the police official blackmailed the victim in this case through several photos and video recordings”, the report says.
After accepting this information, IPK investigators in co-ordination with the prosecution have taken investigative action after which the alleged police official in this case has been arrested and the competent prosecutor has been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours.
IPK investigators in full co-ordination with the State Prosecutor will continue to take further investigative action towards full enlightenment of all the circumstances associated with the case.
