On Thursday, when the deadline for converting plates from illegal to RKS is complete, there is evidence that the great interest of Serbian citizens in technical control centres in North Mitrovica.
Police Deputy Director for the Northern Region Veton Elshani has stressed for RTKli that citizens can register cars only Thursday.
Elshani, has stressed to RTKli that more than 3 thousand vehicles with RKS plates are registered from November 1st to November 29th. He said even 800 were registered earlier.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has already announced all persons with illegal license plates will be able to benefit from registration facilities on RKS license plates.
This included customs duties, administrative tax at the Automaton Record Center, the fee for license plates and the fee for automation certificate equipment.
