Libron Aliu: Kosovo independent state is temporary project

Infrastructure Minister Lieburn Aliu has said that Kosovo is a temporary project, referring to the aspirations for joining Albania.

Aliu issued this statement during an interview with T7.

He has said he cannot create a Kosovo nation, stressing that it would imply a mix of ethnicities, which he says is not succeeding.

I see Kosovo today more than a temporary project. What are the elements that today try to create the Kosovo nation, the Kosovo constitution is of a multiethnic country, what Kosovo is, whether it's Kosovo Albanian or something else, if we were to create a nation that would target a mix of ethnicities I don't know how much it will succeed, and it's not succeeding”.

“I think that Kosovo independent state is a temporary project that has to take a road. The road is normal, economic development, the constant flow within the Balkans, will take it back to its place where all those chauvinizations of all would be wiped out back to its place”, he said.
