University of Cambridge Geopolics Centre professor Timothy Les said today he believes dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina will continue even in the coming months, because it is not in the interest of either side to offend the West. Leaving him, but seeing no chance for progress in dialogue.
Les has explained why Pristina does not want to establish the Association of Serb majority municipalities, at least as something more than a symbolic organ, and only if Belgrade first agrees to recognise Kosovo, which Belgrade refuses and, as he says, insists on the substantial autonomy of Serbs.
And in the meantime, both sides are being circulated through bureaucratic circles -- Kosovo insists that Serbia should respect the Ohrid Agreement, Serbia insists that Kosovo should respect the Brussels Agreement, and so on indefinitely”, he said.
