Kosovo artist Arbnora Feyza-Idriz, whose name is written three times in the Guinness World Records book, has shown the emotions and experience in its newest work, the largest Albanian flag with origami (with the folding of pages), racing for the GUINNES record.
Asked about the hard work and challenges he has faced during this project, Fyza says that she has needed 120 thousand pieces of paper worked out. Educated middle school students in Pristina and her family are engaged in this project.
This project has been one of the projects that have worked very lovingly, but one of the most difficult I have accomplished. It has been a challenging job for me and for all of my staff, so I am very happy that I have achieved something huge in honor of Albania's Independence Festival and give it a gift to the Albanian state. The whole process of work has gone well, but despite the challenges we faced, we managed to get along. It has taken a month to prepare paper, where a piece of paper has had 10 foldings in it, it has taken 120 thousand pieces of paper worked out and the right foldings are made. The biggest challenge was when we made the first measurements to make the eagle, those coordinates points, the measures, etc.”.
The “but then the work went on as planned, despite the difficulties. First, when I did the folding of letters, I hired about 70 high school students “Pristina, where they worked about 50,000 pieces of paper, while 70 thousand pieces have worked with some of my family, where it has not been easy. Another group has done their count. It's been a challenging job for the whole group, but the first two days of the eagle's work I did with two or three people because I was afraid to trust the work of the students. The final night with all the staff, we've done the closing work, the completion of the flag, which has made us happy”, Fyza-Idriz said. /tch/
