Writer Ismail Kadare has been honoured by the municipality of Gjilan. At a ceremony attended by Kadare herself, the artist received appreciation from the Communists. Meanwhile, in September, Kadare took over Kosovo's citizenship. Pesiden Vjosa Osmani has handed over the citizenship decree of the Republic of Kosovo to the world-renowned Albanian writer.
