Jablanovic in a proposal for Blic newspaper stresses that the opposition in Belgrade does not deal with Kosovo except during the campaign.

The new “elections have been announced first of all due to protests and demands the opposition has made during the summer, not because of Kosovo, as the opposition in Belgrade does not deal with Kosovo except during the campaign. We should wait for the results of those elections and see which political option wins the” elections, Jablanovic said.

Jablanovic further added that, for Kosovo- Serbia should not expect major changes.

For now, in my opinion, the opposition has no serious chance, as their only goal is to change the government, and citizens had the opportunity to see the current opposition as it governed from 2000 to 2012. When it comes to relations with Kosovo, we should not expect major and important changes, as for Serbia Constitution and Resolution 1244 are the basis of politics towards Kosovo, but should not be forgotten even the Brussels Agreement, under which both Serbia and Kosovo have certain international obligations”, Jablanovic said.
