Court hearing, Valon Syla calls the attack against him an act of terrorist tendencies

The statement of Syla and defenders of the accused took place Thursday at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, in the trial where the injured witness and witness to the event, journalist Ilir Mirena.

During his testimony before the court, Syla has said the attack has caused uncertainty and that freedom of movement is limited, reports the “Justice Trust”.

He has denied being addressed to the accused with the word <x0mil <x0mune”.

In the meantime, Syla has stated in court that one of the attackers had a view of Lavdrim Muharjer, who had participated in the wars in Syria as part of terrorist organisations.

At the request of a court member, Judge Musa Kondzhel, Mirena made the identification of accused Kenan Hasani, adding that his face remembers him.

Presequently, as the defenders of the accused unanimously began, they said the accused are not offering co-operation with them.

Also at this session was the opening word by special prosecutor Africa Shefki, who said that the guilt of the three accused would be proven by the management of material and personal evidence.

At the same time, the representative of the injured Syla, the lawyer, Kufrim Palushi, said he is not paid to the Prosecutor over the legal appointment of the criminal act by proposing the court to result criminal work in the direction of terrorist acts.

And the lawyer Palushi said that if it hadn't been the public intervention present, it wouldn't be known if Syla could have been present here.

While defenders of the accused in the in-law word stated they generally object to the prosecution's claims with the argument that the accused's actions were not intended to hurt Silas, but that everything according to defenders of the accused has occurred suddenly.

The incident against the River Dravishi, Kenan and Okan Hasani had been founded on August 4th 2023 by Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK) after having scored on its account at “1200 of the same event influenced by the radical ideology of Islam had easily injured journalist Valon Syla, since he had previously scored on his account at <x1Facebook<2> for the prophet Muhammad and the prophet Isa.

Hence, by these actions, Kenan and Okan Hasani are charged with the legal offense “slight exhumation”, which is punishable from six months to three years in prison under the judicial condition of the indictment.
