The detention request has been made against Verodrag Miletic, Admir Sejdiu, Andrija Cavic, Mirko Jevtic, Tomislav Dimic, Mensur Stagova, Granit Zymberi, Nenad Mitic and Arben Aliu, reports Justice Vow.
Under the request, provided by “Justice Betrim” indictee Miletic, Sejdiu and Cavic, suspected of committing criminal acts “Kestum use of official position or authority”, while defendant Jevtic is suspected of carrying out criminal work “Kek misuse of official position or authority<5>, while defendants Dimic, Stamoi, Zmberi, Mitic and Aliu are suspected of carrying out the criminal act <6>
In this case, the Constitutional Court in Pristina, the Special Department has decided regarding the Special Prosecutor's request of the Republic of Kosovo, for the appointment of the detention measure against defendants V. M, A. S, A.C. and M. J, due to suspicion based on having committed criminal work Misuse of official position or authority by Article 1414 paragraph 1 concerning paragraph 3 and under paragraph 3.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo and T defendants. D, N. M, M.S., G.Z., A.A. due to allegations that they have committed the criminal act, taking bribes in co-ordination by Article 421 par.1 concerning Article 31 of the Republic of Kosovo Criminal Code.
The trial of the preliminary procedure has rejected the Special Prosecutor's request of the Republic of Kosovo as unequivocal for appointing the detention measure against defendants V. M, A.S, A. C, M.J., T.D., N. M, M.S, G.Z., A.A. and the same ones assigned you the measure of house arrest for each. The defendants have been appointed house arrest measures in length of 1 (one) month, while in case they fail to respect the house arrest measure, the court could appoint the detention measure for nine defendants”, the court report said.
Against this act, disgruntled parties have the right to complaint at the Court of Appeals, through the Constitutional Court in Pristina.
