32 babies are in critical condition for life, which are among the 219 patients left at Gaza's largest Al-Shifa hospital, the UN said.
There are also trauma patients, seriously infected wounds, and others with spine injuries that are unable to move.
The UN team visited the hospital for an hour after about 2 thousand and 500 displaced people, mobile patients and medical staff left the popular complex Saturday morning, said the World Health Organisation, which headed the mission.
“Patients and health personnel they spoke to were terrified of their safety and health and prayed for evacuation”, the agency said, describing the hospital as a death zone.
She said more teams will try to reach Al-Shifa in the coming days to evacuate patients in southern Gaza, where hospitals are also overloaded, reports The Telegraph, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
