The rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Violet Von Cremon, has suggested that moves towards Serbia in response to the September 24th aggression against Kosovo.
She has said she cannot provide details because it is confidential and under discussion.
“What I can confirm is that the measures are really on the table and the ball is on Serbia's side”, Von Cromon has said about Nova.
This is where I want to be clear Crystal These are not European sanctions, because then they would have to be unanimously approved by all member states of the Council”.
She has said it is about measures also adopted by the European Commission, with the Council's proposal.
“Now is absolutely in their hands and let me stress that the European Parliament has no role in this. In essence, if they are approved, they will be reciprocal measures like those that are now towards Kosovo ʹ lack of meetings with European leaders and annulment of IPA funds”.
