Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Shi Jinping in China this week in an effort to deepen a partnership established between the two biggest strategic competitors in the United States.
Putin will take part in the “Brez Forum and 11x1> in Beijing on October 17th-18th, his first trip outside the former Soviet Union since March, when The Hague-based International Criminal Court issued an order to him on the expulsion of children from Ukraine.
China and Russia declared a partnership “without borders” in February 2022 when Putin visited Beijing just days before sending tens of thousands of troops to Ukraine, causing the most deadly land struggle in Europe since World War II.
