Police Union head exposes VV official for police salary 3 thousand euros

Meanwhile, in view of such a commitment by opposition parties, VV official Egzon Azemi has said they may not have met the police requirements 100 %, but rather most of the policemen engaged in the country's north are paid over 2 thousand euros and in some cases according to him, 3 thousand euros.

Regarding this deportation of the VV official, the head of the Police Union, Izmi Zeqiri, has spoken in an interview at the Frontal T7. He said this case needs to be clarified by showing that there were cops who worked from 24 hours north and that they've been home for weeks.

The Zeqiri has said that the measure after paying additional hours to these officers could be paid by up to 2,000 or 3 thousand euros.

He has clarified that a Kosovo police officer has a basic salary of 619 euros, regardless of where he works, in North or downtown Pristina.

Zeqiri has said that the police's salary of two thousand or three thousand euros, adding further that it is only about individuals who have worked for 24 hours and received payments for extra hours.

We need to make an explanation here for this 2500 and 3 thousand euros. Special operating units during operations in the North have remained for weeks and months without returning home.
