Poison in Malisheva, Prosecutor's Requests Jail for Club Owner

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova, has announced that a decision has been made to launch investigations into poisoning 158 people in Malisheva.

“Following the prosecution's request, there is doubt that defendant K. The US, has committed criminal work “Production and the circulation of harmful food items”, the Prosecutor's report said.
Otherwise, Health Minister Arben Vitita also said on Saturday that the state of poisoning the previous day in the Malisheva municipality is stable.
Minister Vitita has said 11 citizens are extended to the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (QKUK), and nine others are on trial at Prizren General Hospital.
Food and Veterinary Agency spokesman (AUV), Lamir Thaci, has said at a news conference Saturday that the agency has conducted detailed inspections in the alleged business.
Also, several products that we call non-originated have been found there, and no support documentation to know their origins. There have been products that are cooked inside that kitchen, and these are all facts that we're going to identify in the process and then other organs will estimate”.
He has said inspections will increase in businesses preparing fast food, because the most frequent poisoning cases are recorded there.
The Food and Veterinary Agency is responsible for protecting the lives and health of citizens, through food security, which Kosovo intends to have according to European Union standards.
