Netanyah warns that the attack has just begun, Hamas threatens to kill hostages

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed yesterday that his attack on Hamas would “change the Middle East” after Israel added air strikes to the Gaza Strip and stopped it from food, water, fuel and other supplies in retaliation for the bloody invasion that killed hundreds of people. “As Israeli prime minister, I tell you [...]

“As Israel's prime minister, I tell you frankly, difficult days are still ahead of us,” warned Netanyahu in a televised speech Monday. In total, more than 1600 people have lost their lives these days. In all, more than 900 people have been killed in Israel, according to authorities.

While the number of dead Palestinians rose to more than 680, the Gaza Ministry of Health said. The Israeli Army said Monday it has largely taken control of the southern part, but fighting continues sharply. Over 300,000 militias have been put on alert for the ground operation Israel is preparing.

Meanwhile, Hamas raised his voice Monday after pledging he would start killing hostages if Israeli forces continue to target civilians without warning. “We will start executing an Israeli prisoner for any new Israeli bombing of civilian homes without warning,” threatened Hamas' spokesman.

Israeli authorities believe as many as 150 hostages are being held in Gaza. Hamas said on Sunday that more than 100 hostages were being held in Gaza, including senior Israeli Army officers. Social media videos show what it seems militants kidnap many civilians, including children.

The U.S. believes Americans can be among the hostages. Meanwhile, in Gaza, tens of thousands fled their homes as continued air strikes levelled buildings in the city. Israeli tanks and drones were set up to guard the Gaza border fence to prevent further provocations.
