“In response to recent tensions in Kosovo, NATO has sent hundreds of additional troops to KFOR in recent weeks. We are putting more patrols north of Kosovo”.
Stoltenberg said these are steps ensuring that KFOR has the forces it needs to fulfil its UN mandate, the Express newspaper reports.
“Belgrade and Pristina must act responsibly, refrain from destabilising actions and renegotiate in the EU dialogue. This is the only way for lasting peace in Kosovo”.
