Today, the legal medical teams of the Law Medicine Institute and EULEX, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police and the Government Commission for Missing Persons, during digging activities at the Gjakova Bizha location, have found skeleton remains allegedly belonging to the victims of recent war in Kosovo.
Jobs in Biszhin will continue in the coming days, while skeletal waste will undergo forensic examinations with the aim of identifying them.
The location in Biszhin has been the massive primary cemetery where victims from Gjakova were buried in the suburb, which during the spring of 1999 have been exhumed and sent to mass cemetery in Serbia's territory where most of them have been found.
