Meta will limit some Facebook comments on Israeli, Palestinian posts

Facebook owner Meta has presented temporary measures to limit potentially unwanted “ ” in posts concerning the Israeli-Haams war.

The company said it will change the default name for people who can comment on new and public Facebook posts created by users “in the region” only for their friends and followers, Aljazeera reports.

The social media company added it would disable the ability to see one or two first comments in posts during the Facebook Feed movement.
