Limaj: Progress in northern Kosovo had political purpose

Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj spoke of the political and security situation in the country, especially after the terrorist group from Serbia to northern Kosovo, which, as he said, had political intentions.

The situation following the attack on northern Kosovo, Limaj said that to materialise this in a diplomatic way, caution should be taken in determining what happened.

It for Kosovo's security bodies said it has done its job in a better way possible, adding that the investigation, collection of evidence and presentation are now needed before internationals.

Kosovo's “Parliament has issued a resolution calling for an international investigation that we have an interest in the investigation into creditable evidence to clarify the truth that we have nothing to hide that aggression has been carried out against us”, Limaj told RTK.

Limaj further stressed the need is that what we know we have to prove to our partners, where we have the orientation to go, Brussels, the European Parliament, the Council of Europe, the US, the QUINT, until he added that the results of this investigation highlight the right label for what has been done.

He further stressed that something that we do not know and that is the purpose of this aggression, that this aggression is based on, in various aspects, in training, in logistics, all this, must have political intent.

He has, among other things, talked about the world's security situation, stressing that the world has become more troubled than ever, in which he feels we are living in a unstable world but that demonstrated confidence in the maturity of world diplomacy that will stay calm in the present world.
