The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms has called the Specialised Chambers racist, saying arrests, judgments and sentences are being made on ethnic grounds.

According to the Council, the Special Court has reduced the possibility of protecting the accused, and the sentences against Nasim Haradinaj, Hysni Gucatit and Salih Mustaf “were capitals, draconic and unprecedented”.
