The Jewish writer becomes viral on social networks: Hostages, but not Gaza's children, why is Israel's government not being punished

It seems somewhat strange that a Jewish author asks for such a thing, but Sim is out and speaks out about what is happening in Palestine, stressing that there is a frightening rhetoric in Western media that differentiates people.

Its most recent video on the current situation in the Gaza Strip has become viral, and it is sufficient to see the comments to understand that many of its followers, mostly Americans, support it. If right now you're making a statement about how much to feel about Izreal's hostages, but you don't say that people, civilians, Gaza kids. If you're condemning Hamas, but you're not doing the same for the Israeli government and the absolute support of the United States to it, while the Israeli government is bombarding the citizens of Gaza, blocking their food, cutting off their electricity, a town where children make up 50% of the population and where because of violated rights people suffer unfortunately from apartheid. 

In the world's largest prison, they are experiencing constant violence from Israel's army. If you didn't care what happened in Palestine not more than two days ago, it's because you see Israelis as people, but not Palestinians. If you live in the United States, it's understandable that you haven't been paying attention to the latter because Western media are highly favourable to white people and that's how racism actually works: The Israelites are white, the Palestinians are not!

You see this difference made in people in daily media rhetoric, where otherwise it describes Israelites who remain killed and completely different Palestinians who die, putting in the shadow the aggressions of the Israeli Army, which they call a clash between the parties, and also overshadowing the decihuman acts rendered to Palestinians, which are so important to the supreme project in Palestine. My suggestion has always been, even before it was this battle, that people read a book of any kind but a Palestinian author. 

This suggestion today is viewed by people as something very dangerous, because if you do, then you will see Palestinians as people and the way you see this conflict today will change forever. A few years ago in You Tube, I made some videos showing more about what's going on there and I normally put myself on the Israeli black player<x0. 

I, as a Jew and author, am stating this because I want people to be encouraged to read Palestinian literature. So, before you say what is happening in Israel and Palestine actually, ask yourself: Have you ever asked to hear more of Palestinians themselves, read a book of a Palestinian author? ”She says in her video.
