More than 24 hours after the Palestinian militant group launched an unexpected invasion in Israel, the Hebrew State has retaliated.
At least 313 Palestinians have been killed, including 20 children, and nearly 2,000 have been injured as a result of air strikes in Gaza since Saturday, Palestinian authorities said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyah said his country is already at war and that enemies will pay a heavy price. Meanwhile, Hamas' leaders said they are prepared for further escalation.
