EU Office in Kosovo chief Ambassador Thomas Szunyog has stayed for a visit to northern Kosovo.
Szunyog has written that during this visit, he has heard different attitudes about the current situation.
On a visit to northern Kosovo, I heard attitudes from different prospects for the current situation on the ground. Recent developments are a severe and tragic reminder of what is at stake for people living in northern Kosovo, for the security of all its communities, and for the vast region”, he wrote on the platform “X”.
Szunyog has indicated that both sides should contribute to lowering tensions.
“I stressed the role and importance that local activists have in contributing to the reduction of tensions at this critical moment”, Szunyog wrote.
In a year to country, I heard shares&perspectives on the current situation on the ground. The companies are a static&tradic thanks to what is at stage for the people who live in nowhere. #KosovoFor the safety of all it is communities& for the new regime.
