European Union Foreign Policy Representative Josep Borrell has issued a stance following the Hamas terrorist group's attack on Israel.
He has said the EU condemns violent attacks on Israel in the harshest terms and worries about life losses.
“The EU calls for immediate suspension of these senseless attacks, which further raise tensions in the region and seriously undermine aspirations for peace of the Palestinian people”, says Borrell's stance.
“The EU stands in solidification with Israel having the right to defend itself in line with international laws, in dealing with such violence and attacks”.
He has extended an invitation to work for lasting peace in the Middle East.
