The regional council in northern Israel has suggested that 15 to 20 parachutists, who are armed, have entered the Jewish state from Lebanon, thus crossing the border between two states.
According to the Israeli Army, they are undercover and are being worked to investigate.
But the Council of County did not rush to conclusions, simply saying they had been spotted in the sky, crossing the border, and that the citizens of that area were instructed to stay safe at home.
According to the likelihood, any spotted delta can hold up to two persons and is not really known whether such was the scenario, or the undercover are individuals in the direction of manual aircraft.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has said he is concerned about the attacks reported on Israel from southern Lebanon, urging those involved to avoid spreading conflict.
He spoke as Israeli officials suggested that as many as 15 parachutists had entered the airspace in northern Israel, though details of the apparent encouragement were not immediately clear.
I call on all parties and those who influence those parties to avoid any further escalation and expansion,”, he told reporters.
The White House is also thoroughly watching the scenarios, where there have been rocket launchs from southern Lebanon towards northern Israel.
“We have seen missiles launch coming from southern Lebanon ... north of Israel. Of course, we're looking at this with great concern. We do not want to see this conflict widen or expand”, says John Kirby, the Pentagon's spokesman in an interview for MSNBC.
He adds that it is not in Israel's interest to have a second front to fight and protect.
However, the Israeli Army feels that the case does not stand and that there has been no air invasion.
