Dani Alves' hopes of making a successful defense have taken a turn for the worse. The Brazilian sponsor was imprisoned after the release of an arrest warrant signed by Judge Anna Marin, writes Periscopi.
According to the newspaper La Vanguardia, a new witness has come up with her charges of assault.
Maika Navarro reports in the Barcelona daily that one of the two young girls who accompanied the victim to the Sutton club told Mossos d'Esquadra that Danny Alves had embraced and placed his hand in her private areas.
The victim recognized one of Brazilian tattoos in the womb, and according to court sources consulted by El Mundo newspaper, the complainer described the tattoo in the form of a semiheader located on the right side of his abdomen.
When the judge asked Alves about it, the legendary defender gave two different versions. In the first one, he explained that it was 23-year-old girl who had attacked her while she was sitting in the bathroom and that the footballer said the victim was not thrown toward him, but it was the Brazilian who stood up, making it easier to look at his tattoo.
What are the sentences for Alves if convicted?
According to the victim's statement, which the investigative judge considers strong and persistent, the player has forced him to go to the bathroom of the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona on the night of 30-31 December.
After the recent legislative modification, sentences range from four to 12 years in prison./Periscopi/
