Former Self-Deputer of the Vetevendosje Movement, Afrim Kasolli, is calling the request of Minister Jhelal Svecla to Germany to allow Kosovo citizens to enter this state with an expired passport.
He told the Online Economy that the lack of material for passport production shows the Government's total accountability and indifference towards Kosovo citizens' basic needs and demands.
Casolli stressed that in this case the prosecution would have to begin investigations, as, according to him, with the lack of passport materials, IDs and had the driver, basic rights of citizens are being violated.
It's absolutely not logical, it's probably one of the most scandalous public actions of this power and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, directed to the German state and their authorities. It is absurd to say that you allow Kosovo citizens with expired passports to come to your state in Germany”, he said, EO.
“On the other hand, lack of materials expresses a responsibility and a total indifference of this power towards the basic needs and requirements of Kosovo citizens. As an act greatly hurts the international image of the state of Kosovo, because it reflects a total lack of responsibility in relation to our partners. Under normal circumstances it would be necessary for the automatism prosecutor to initiate an investigative procedure because they are violating these basic rights of Kosovo citizens”.
The loss of the passport deprives citizens of their movement, their right to movement and other materials, not only of passport, not of IDs, of driver's patents, so Kosovo citizens are violated by some basic rights with these irresponsible acts of power”.
