Family medicine specialist Dr. Florie Hyseni '% Morina, from the main Family Medicine Centre in Pristina, told Radio Free Europe, that most of the cases are of ordinary seasonal virosis.
The currents in us have slight symptoms, mainly from the upper respiratory lesion with a deadlock or nose, throat pain, coughing. But there are times that symptoms are a little bit more severe, with a high fever with the irritability of respiratory lesions and possibly pneumonia”, Hyseni-Morina said.
At the Main Centre of Family Medicine in Pristina during one day, about 200 citizens seek medical assistance, where according to professionals, about 50% of them have virosis problems.
In these cases we suspect ordinary virtues or seasonal virosis. There are approximately 200 species of viruses that cause common colds that produce symptoms. In the flu, however, symptoms are more severe. It is not ruled out even the possibility of cases with COVID-19, while the virus is still present and the symptoms are similar”, Hyseni said.
