While opposition parties have voiced optimism that today the Trust Bill will be passed on first reading, against this bill, the ruling Vetevendosje party has voiced itself
So stated Vetevendosje Parliamentary Group Chief Mimoza Kusari-Lila this week.
“The VV group's stance is clear we haven't supported withdrawal from the trust, because we consider that economically it will have this negative and long-term effect on economy”, she said.
For the passage of this initiative, the simple majority of votes by MPs participating in the vote are needed.
The initiative to withdraw the Trust has been processed for the Kosovo Assembly in December last year after receiving the Commission's approval for Buzhet.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo had proposed attracting up to 30 per cent of pension savings.
This party's MP, Bekim Haxhiu, on behalf of the PDK Parliamentary Group on March 9th had handed over the draft law on completing and changing the Law on Pension Savings Fund, which would enable the withdrawal of these means.
However, this bill had not received the green light of Kosovo Assembly deputies in June.
