The European Parliament Committee on Thursday will have visa liberalisation in place for Kosovo.

That's what the Eurodeput Thijs Reuten made known, through a tweet.

After the long-awaited agreement with EU member states for visa liberalisation for Kosovo last December, we will continue at the pace of the European Parliament. Vote on the commission this Thursday!” wrote Reuta.

It should be stressed that ambassadors of EU member states during the summit in Brussels in December have approved the previously reached agreement between the EU Council and the European Parliament for visa liberalisation for Kosovo.

Now the agreement must be voted into the Commission for Civil Freedoms, Justice and Internal Affairs (LIBE) in the European Parliament, and then at the plenary session.
