Thaci: Ivanovic's Majesty by prime minister constitutes moral, national and historical crime

Sociologist Jusuf Thaci writes that even if the murdered Serbian politician Oliver Ivanovic had not been convicted of war crimes, yet his honour by Prime Minister Albin Kurti would be inappropriate. “Even if Oliver Ivanovi was not at all suspected and convicted (in the first instance) of murder and crimes against [...]
“Even if Oliver Ivanovi were not at all suspected and convicted (in the first instance) of murder and crime against Albanians, Kosovo's prime minister should have no reason to remember and magnify a person like him, because he has not brought any good to Kosovo or to its citizens”, Thaci wrote on Facebook.
But Ivanovic's sentence, which Thaci is sure would reconfirm, makes the memory of it by Prime Minister “a crime”.
“Mirpo Oliver Ivanovi was suspect and convicted (in the first instance) of murder and crime against Albanians in Kosovo (will surely be punished with the retrial case, and on all scales of courts, because against it there are numerous witnesses and witnesses), so his memory and glory from Kosovo's prime minister constitutes moral, national and historical crime”, said in Thaci's post.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti appeared yesterday with a video message for the Serbian politician, killed five years ago in northern Mitrovica.
Seeking justice for Ivanovics, whose murder has not yet turned white, Kurti said he wants his memory alive.
“Oliver Ivanovic was a person devoted to fighting for the interests of the community and its city. He did so by being open, sincere, always sharp in matters of importance but also respectful toward those with whom he disagreed. I would like his memory to remain alive, his memory as a man who worked for a stable future and for a very ethnic Kosovo”, Kurti said.
Ivanovic was sentenced to the first degree for war crimes against the Albanian population in April 1999 in Mitrovica.
